Devin Townsend covers Vengaboys hit

Vancouver metal star Devin Townsend covers Vengaboys 1998 Eurodance hit "We Like to Party". Current COVID-19 situation in the world inspired another musician/artist to bring back 90s Eurodance in musical ether.The cover is released as Quarantine Project and entitled "We Like To Party In Isolation".

Big thanks to Devin for this, he keep many elements from the original, like the cheesy synth sounds and energy, but vocals are taken to another level—mostly because they are actually quite good. Anneke Van Giersbergen and Ché Aimee Dorval sings the verses.

Townsend had been on a major North American tour that kicked off in February and was to have ended with a show in San Francisco on March 25. Due to the pandemic, he was forced to postpone much of the tour. If you would like to help him recoup some of his losses, visit the GoFundMe page here.
