FiNCH formerly known as FiNCH ASOZiAL real name Nils Wehowsky is a german musician and battle-rap artist.
Nils was born in Frankfurt(Oder) and grew up in Fürstenwalde.He trained as a mechatronics technician. He then worked for five years in the private sector before studying electrical engineering.He has lived in Berlin-Lichtenberg since 2013,where he moved because of a job.
His mostly satirical texts are often written in vulgar language and characterized by Ostalgia and a largely positive attitude towards modern East Germany and excessive drug use.According to his own statement, the focus is on chemical drugs. Its aesthetics are based on the DDR of the 80s.
Wehowsky first gained notoriety through his participation in the Battlerapformat Rap am Mittwoch(eng.Rap on Wednesday). He also runs a YouTube channel on which he has regularly uploaded his own songs since 2014. To date he has over 388,000 subscribers.
His debut single Ostdeutscher Hasselhoff was released in August 2016.The EP Fliesentisch Romantik followed in August 2018.
First studio album Dorfdisko was released on March 8, 2019 and immediately reached number two in the German album charts.On February 14, 2020, his second album Finchi's Love Tape was released, which also took second place in the charts.
In June 5, 2020 he collaborated with Scooter to record single entitled "Bassdrum". After that another great collaborations with Harris & Ford results tracks "Nachbarn" and "Freitag Samstag". Collaboration with Leony & Vize results track Easy Peasy.
In June 2021 FiNCH collaborated with Jasmin Wagner(Blümchen) to record 90s inspired track entitled "Herzalarm" which is available on all major streaming services around world.
