DJ Bobo new eurodance songs and more




Eurodance legend DJ Bobo is back with 3 new eurodance inspired singles as teasers for the forthcoming 16th studio album entitled "The Great Adventure" which is set for the release on January 16, 2026.As well european tour for the 2026 is announced too.
 
"The Great Adventure"  
 
Release Date: September 12, 2025. 
 
The title track was received with enthusiasm by fans, many of whom noted that it successfully recaptured the nostalgic feeling of his classic sound from the 1990s. "Sombrero" 

 Release Date: October 17, 2025.

The lyrics prominently feature the repeated call-out "Sombrero, sombrero" and phrases about dancing all night, designed to be an interactive part of his upcoming live shows. "Fire & Ice" 

 Release Date: November 14, 2025 (mentioned as the latest in late 2025 marketing materials).

DJ BoBo (born Peter René Baumann on January 5, 1968) is a highly successful Swiss singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and music producer, widely recognized as an icon of 90s Eurodance music. He has sold over 14 million records worldwide and remains one of the most successful Swiss artists of all time.

 


 

Early Beginnings: Baumann initially trained as a baker and confectioner. His passion for music led him to work as a DJ in a youth center in the 1980s, where he was heavily influenced by American dance culture. 

Career Breakthrough: His major international breakthrough came in 1992 with the single "Somebody Dance with Me". The track, which borrowed its melody from Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me," topped the charts in Switzerland and Sweden and became a top 5 hit across Europe.
